Safety is a joke, they make up all kinds of goofy rules rather than use common sense approach, your evaluated every year but it has nothing to do with what kind of worker you are, but your Management Attendance, ex. if you were off sick, or missed a call.Customer service means NOTHING, they have crews by-pass the customers if it means 15 minutes overtime...
Rules and Safety is a number one concern at cn , until a train needs to get out then it's anything goes . It's rediculous . And before anyone says these comments are from a "terminated one" iv been with cn for 32 years and counting.
Looks like some piece of garbage was dumped by the company for cause folks - it sucks to be a reject obsessed with one's former employer!!
Classic management comment above
Yeah it's too bad, pathetic really when Management feels it has to exagerate to extremes to boost ratings on an internet site/blog...when it's all 5 star ratings you must think newcomers to this site are stupid, naive or both..they're not...but they can sure see how deceptive Managers in this company are...oh yeah and I've survived here for 30 years...key word survived
Looks like the terminated have nothing to do but come here and cry folks.
bad place to work. well...actually easy work, guaranteed check...but by far the most unhappy place for work...feels like prison...can't wait to quit. btw everyone cries here. most unhappy group.

It is known fact that there is problems in every work place environment not just the CNR, unless your in upper management and oblivious. The greatest conflicts are created by sociopathic employees who need to be put in their places continuiously. These individuals cause nothing but problems and love working in chaos. There are many individuals and growing who are ready to put these individuals in their place because it is no longer acceptable. This behavior is called bullying and practiced to rid an individual whether the individual is a good employee and upper management has no balls to fix it, instead putting up with poor employees who don't do there job and have accidents.
