have been employed with CN Rail for quite some time now and always found them to be fair and a great place to work...Have never had any problems therefore I think its all in the attitude..They certainly look after there employees and care about there well being.
so why is Cn rail not listed as one of the top employers in Canada? Last timed I checked CP rail was in that list but not Cn, because it's a third party review by the employees and the company has no say in the results, the hourly work force vote if a company is a good place to work and that determines if you make the top hundred list. That should give you an idea to who is giving all the 5 star reviews, and it's not us the workers.
CP failed to make the 2012 list, they suck as bad as Cn does now, I guess working for the railway is the worst job you can have. Go to Canadas top 100 employers and get a job with one of them, even if you make 10 bucks an hour.
Excellent review - it is defnitely true that only a very small minority of troublemakers stink up the place and try to create a bad environment. Most of us would be glad to see the last of them, to be honest.
Comments 3...what do you do, cut and paste because you give the same comments on every rating...management...this must have been written by a manager as well since they don't know their from there..but i bet he can see you lift a switch handle with 1 hand from 1000 feet away

Excellent apprenticeship program here at CN - now that many of the deadwood are retiring, there are huge opportunities here.
