I am sorry but I have worked for this company for eight years, I am afraid to say that it is eight years I cannot get back. Management at CN is absolutely ridiculous, inexperience and micro managing attributes that. Family life is non existent or extremely difficult to balance due to the lack scheduling and being on call 24/7. I am not stating these facts because I am disgruntal or because I have been fired, it is actually the opposite I have never been punished for anything trivial since I began working for CN, the fact is I completely disagree with the direction the company is going and the way unionized employees and management are being treated. I must state that if you are seeking employment here, continue with your search, as I am at this moment. I would not recommend this company as a valued employer, it is a company based on upper management greed and shareholder interests. Employment at CN Rail will be one decision you will regret as I do.
