  • I recently left WestJet and am already contemplating returning. WestJet went through some serious growing pains 2-3 years ago as it restructed its upper management, which caused some dissatisfaction...but the bottom line is that the employees are being listened to, and changes have been made. Salaries have improved, schedules have improved and WestJet is currently the only profitable airline in North America. They're doing something right. No workplace is perfect, but this is a darn good one. I think the key in an airline is finding a job you actually enjoy doing -- if you don't want to be away from your kids, being a flight attendant is probably not the wisest choice. Luckily they are pretty good about internal transfers. Would certainly recommend it.
