A friend of mine liked working here until she/he found out The Keg has money to blow on the BC liberal Election Campaigns but don’t have any money to give the employees a raise in pay. I mean come on thousands of dollars to the liberal party so they can lower child poverty even more than they already have. She/he is quitting to find an employer that holds their values a little higher. I for one won’t be spending my money here anymore and I’m sure my friends won’t either. Bad move with the donations KEG!!!

Totally agree with above comment. The Keg is an awesome place to work, has awesome food and it's their money to do whatever they like with. While they donate to charities as well. And our Keg at least, gives employees raises if they feel they deserve them/ the employee should be the one asking unless they're outstanding and are recognized by a raise.

It's The Keg's money to do with as they see fit, not the employees. I am sure The Keg will miss your business (Your friends, other than being your friend, are not fools like you and will still frequent The Keg for their great food and excellent value.). You come across as someone who has principles that do not mesh with the real world. This may shock your "principles"... companies donate to political parties all the time!
