Unfortunately I have to give Starbucks a low rating. (Toronto DT and Mid town Locations) The company promises a lot but delivers only rhetoric and corporate babel. This organization is good only if you are looking for a McJob, perfect for students. Their turnover is huge so they are always looking, in fact desperate for new staff. If you are a store manager you really and I mean really need to know how to suck up. District managers are forced to be brutal and most store managers will not last long. Even at the management level turnover is huge, which is a sure sign that a company does not treat their employees well. So if you need to work there make sure it works for you. Get what you need and leave when something better comes along. No company loyalty there so don't look for it. This is an honest and accurate review. Proceed with caution when dealing with Starbucks.
