Starbucks offers many opportunities for part-time employees ie. students, mothers etc. such as health coverage, flexible hours and discounts. However if you are wanting to make a career at Starbucks you must either have experience to step into the management roles or be able to live off a humble hourly wage and part-time hours for a couple years until you reach management. Regardless, it is fun and rewarding if you can multi-task and handle stress effectively. The friendships you build are next to none.
