The company has become overly "corporate" with the top execs pushing down a lot of process & policy. Our business unit execs are constantly working to meet the CEO's business planning sessions. I don't think that they are connected to the working levels. Its dissappointing to grant the CEO a large compensation increase when the company is cutting back on pension plans, benefits, and employees. Not sure how the compensation increase is justified when Nortel is not generating satisfactory financial results.
