Budget cuts seriously hurt Mount Royal. Their transition from college to university hurt them as they did not anticipate the need to do university level research. Government punished them by taking the money away that was supposed to used on research. I worked in the aviation department - program is outdated, instructors are lazy, and management is at loss to correct a program that is quite literally broke. They take it out on students by raising the tuition but not the quality of the program. An once great and ground breaking program is at its best - awful!!!
