HP is an excellent company to work for, if you perform. The culture has changed in the sense that lazy people are being exposed, and the performers are getting rewarded accordingly. No longer do you get raises just for sitting on your ass, and this is probably the type of culture that the people are complaining about in their reviews. Overall, if you're good at what you do and you like your job you'll do very well at HP.

The pay for performance, what a load of rubbish, for the last 3 years in HP I have had top rated in my FPR, im 2 grand shy of the start of my pay band and like the last comment was always getting eawards. Ive since lost the will to go so much over and above, I do my job and I do it well but I dont put in the effort I used to simply because im not getting rewarded.

Agree with the last comment, im a top performer, always was getting eawards till they stopped them, still end up with rubbish bonus and no pay rise for years.

You mention that performers are getting rewarded accordingly. That is highly dependent on what area of HP that you work in. I agree that there are many lazy and incompetent folks, however I know some very talented people who have not been compensated appropriately. The sales side of HP is a very good place to be.
