I left Dalsa last year and I was curious to see how other employees rated it. To my surprise no one really took the time to give his/her feedback. Dalsa is the worst workplace in Ontario. Last year more than half of the staff were fired or left the company on their own. The workplace is dangerous and accidents happen frequently. The employee training is very low and the pressure to save few pennies is very high. The Manager’s behavior is very unprofessional. For new grads, it is the place to avoid because Dalsa is manufacturing outdated devices. Cameras and CCD products are outdated and don’t sell very well. Dalsa is battling hard to place its products. Salaries are very low and compensation packages are low as well. Good place to work for if you are desperate. I am glad I left it last year.
