Pros: Opportunities for advancement; training programs are well organized but only effective when coupled with proper feedback and instruction; good work/life balance, shifts are flexible; this is a corporate & franchised business, which means middle management can be either great or terrible; good for students, wage depends on sales ability, the more you can sell the more you can make. Cons: High turnover which leads to inexperienced supervisors and assistant managers; very repetitive work; Wage is $11-12 depending on tutoring experience, this means with 3 tutoring years experience you will make as much as someone who has none.
