This company seems to promote people based on who you know and not for what you know. They hired a high school graduate from outside for position as assistant manager when they have people with college diploma in Business Mnagement interested in the position.
A lot of time the people that are hired for management are either married into the family. If their not related in some way then they have never worked in a retail/grocery business. If they are educated then they are text book smart NOT common sense or have any business sense. It's really to bad that the company wants to be run by the younger generation. I guess they are so smart as for the younger people their job is usually a stepping stone for them NOT a long time career for them. Its the older (mature) employees who have the smarts but then the company doesn't think that the hired help knows very much. To bad because the way the company is going they won't be here in another 5 to 10 years.
