I work for a Fortinos in Hamilton, ON. Horrible employer. I have a friendly relationship with many people in that place, and almost ALL of them HATE working there. The franchisee is rude and very stuck up. My department manager is consistently on a raging power struggle with everyone in my department who's "below" her. Her favorite thing to say: "I'm the boss". She doesn't write the schedule fairly AT ALL. The punch clock is always being set about 4 to 8 minutes ahead of what time it actually is, and we get told to arrive that much earlier so we can punch in based on "their time". We work for 6 hours and are entitled one ONE 15 minute break. I could go on and on and on. I can't wait to get out of that place.
