Worked for Loblaws for nearly 10 years. 10 years ago the company was actually fairly good. Now, through inept leadership (ha!), nepotism and amateur business practice they are on their way to well deserved self-destruction. To quote a former colleague ' we don't need to worry about the competition killing us we can do that to ourselves!' Loblaws is a joke with almost everyone I know including people that still (unfortunately) work there. It's a sad world when Walmart is significantly better in all respects than Loblaws
