I've worked for loblaws on maplegrove for about about 2 months now. Let me tell you.. this place is so filled with rediculous union and manager drama.. i honestly wouldnt reccomend this job to my worse enemy. They cut your hours to 3 hours per day most of the time and your paycheck at the end of the week ends up being just over 100 dollars.. <-- awesome? no. Nobody here smiles (aside from a few friendly faces) they treat the employees like shit and it's just a filthy place to work. There's birds living in this building for christ sakes. On some of the locations there's a half inch of dust on the damn boxes. The janitors are horrible. Never ever cleaning anything up. (for example i'll call in a spill and it'll take an hour to get to it) i know grocery is big but jesus christ.. an hour? give me a break. Not to mention the horrid trainers. All they do walk around and chit-chat with other co-workers while they watch you wonder what your supposed to do. I dont know about you guys but when i get hired for a position i expect to be trained and actually taught something. My experience on the floor, and talking to co-workers i learned more in 5 minutes of talking with someone than i did my whole 2 weeks of ''training''honestly.. dont work here. listen to all of them ^
Your store is not just an isolated example. It's like that in most, if not all of the banners. Morale is rock bottom.
