Its a decent place to work. Unions are awesome. Psht ill pay the 15$ a check to feel like i have some sort or importance in this workplace. Yes i found corrupt ways in random things, and stupid ideas for the way works done.but Thats life of a corporation if they want to make money.

The people that are putting down this business are the ones that slack and work slow there for they get no hours because ur wasting everyone's time ..work is noticed here,u gain respect by managers if you go to work and show u care about your work.

Yes this place some times sucks you r life out..but u can get somewhere if you play your cards right. My supervisors are freaken awesome. The People i work with are freaken awesome. But Damn. I must say i have fun at work... In all if you care about your duties here. . You will be recognized for it and they will push u higher in the company.. just go to work positive. Do things right.

And don't be a cashier. Unless your really lazy and prefer to stay in one spot for a 5-8 hour shift... These comments were all possibly cashiers/and/or kids that can hold a job for a good 2 weeks...

Ya........don't be a cashier unless you want one of the hardest jobs in the store!

Cashiers are the last employee that a customer sees and they spend the most time with the customers. They take the crap because there isn't product on the shelves, the customer couldn't find anyone to help them and so on. Codes and processes to remember and things change all the time.

I'd like to see you on cash, it's not as easy as it looks.

A cashier is NOT lazy. It isn't that easy to stand and constantly be positive and put a smile on your face when a customer give them crap. You should try the job on a day before a holiday and see how easy it is. It's small minded people like yourself that only thinks that a cashier only stands there and scans a bar codes. Wake up and pay attention on all the knowledge these people have.

On second thought you must be a manager who doesn't do much but finds fault with employees.

What are you talking about rater 228? I have been with the company for 25 dedicated years. I use to enjoy coming to work, when the store was functioning at its best! If everyone is slacking off and moral is at its all time low, this creates a negative working environment. I am a proud cashier and enjoy my work, however, when I start seeing corruption around me, then I don't enjoy my work anymore!

This is obviously a company rep who's job it is to assess damage control. I know myself, I use to be one. I have since moved on to another career after 8 years with the company. I am simply curious on how this company is performing with its employee relations since I have left 2 years ago, and I have friends still working there.

They have informed me of this website and to see some of the comments by the employees. So far mostly all the negative information stated about the company is true, I must say that in fact it has further declined in employee satisfaction, health, moral etc... over the years. Stumbling upon this rater, I just had to add my comment.

I was a loyal hard working company man and still am but not for this company anymore. I feel that they have lost their way in customer, employee and over all human relations at any level of the entire organization except for the elite top brass.

Of course these are my thoughts only, but from what I have read here, for someone looking for employment look some where else if you can.

And thus my good deed for the day has been fullfilled, hopefully this comment has helped some one.
