I have been reading the reviews that are being posted about Loblaws, I see the staff is very unhappy. I thought I was the only one, I'm glad to see i'm not the only one. I have 37 years part-time and full-time,33 full time, the last ten years have been hell. My biggest concern is the treatment of staff, we have a whole company of mostly disgruntled employee's. My parents, Uncle and a few cousins have put well over 150 combined years of service into this company that we all see falling apart. 37 total, 33 full time, Oop's I guess I made a small error. Anyway this company really screwed us ,putting money out there to take a buy down . In doing this we loose vacation time ,sick days, Xmas bonus,dissability and the biggest thing of all, we loose all of our benefits if we choose to retire early. If anyone out there is thinking of retiring under the new Great Food agreement remember your benefits are gone. Benefit packages are not cheap so think about what you are doing,stay with the Loblaws agreement and keep eveything the we all worked hard for all af these years.
