I think Loblaws is one of the worst companies to work for. You always hear stories about how Wal-Mart treats their employees unfairly but Loblaws takes the gold. They literally do not care about my department. We constantly have problems with equipment malfunctions and we inform the appropriate people and nothing gets done for weeks. Working in the photo-lab I deal with developing chemicals on a day to day basis and their is problems with how we operate (ie. inadequate ventilation) and we aren't a new photo-lab either. In the photo-lab I feel that the company is working against us rather than working with us, I feel like because most of us are part time they feel like they can bully us around and we won't do anything about it. The only way I would recommend this employer to someone is if you wanted a job that dissapoints and frustrates.
