I have been employed by Loblaws for 12 years as a dept manager. I am usually not one to put a comment on a site like this but i just can't help myself this time. Evey single word that everyone has written here about Loblaws is true. Usually companies that do this (cut hours at store level, the easy way to make a buck) so quickly are ready to sell off parts of their empire. Wonder if the Westons Bakeries people feel the same way? I'll bet yes!
