"Why are so many Losers working here?"............because a lot of us losers started with this company many years ago when it was a great place to work.We 'did our time" and build up our wages, pensions,benefits and holidays through many years of hard work and devotion. The company continues to profit every year and starts to get greedy and sign's a "secret contract" with our shi**y Union (UFCW) and everything begins to fall apart for all working staff at store level.Basically , the company does not care........therefore the staff does not care which results in poor work morale.

hours are great?..you must be in the office, IT or HR/IR etc. you certainly don't work in a food store...the wages are good, agreed..but where an office worker may get 37-40 hrs pay weekly, less that 10% of colleagues at store level get more than 16-20 (ratio is approx. 8.6% full time to part time). schedules are posted every Wed/Thurs for the upcoming week so plan a time with your family/friends or even appointments but expect to change them--oh wait, office workers don't work evenings or weekends, so no problem there..I'm wondering how long you've been with Loblaw and I'm happy that you are happy ,honestly and I hope that you can hold on to that feeling, I remember feeling it, honestly I do, but not for a long long time.. next contract 2012.. offer me a buyout to save labour costs!!!
