I worked in the Maple Grove Distribution Center for 3 years. Being it was the first time working in a warehouse setting I honestly thought that's the way things were supposed to be, right up until I made the decision to leave, no person, employee or not should have to deal with the mental, physical and emotional stress that this company places on it's employees.
Really? I know a Maple Grove DC employee that has taken months off as "stress leave" for various "medical problems". He was actually proud of the fact that he was getting time off to get work done on his home instead. I don't know too many companies who would be willing to take care of employees who abuse the system like this. Also, most Canadians will never know what it's like to be completely protected by a union like LCL DC workers do. You should be thankful you have a good paying job with benefits. Thousands of educated and qualified Canadians are out of work.
