I've worked for 6 years at the Maple Grove DC. Their idea of "Go Green" is to put 20 cases of product on a skid, load it into a truck, brace it, take pictures, turn on the refridgeration unit and ship it to head office. Why? Because they can. Can't they just go to a local store and give the store credit? Nope. Head office needs to waste the gas, maintenance, pay the driver, hassle the employees (It must be perfect, dammit!) for their own benefit. The parallels that can be drawn to the book 1984 are terrifying.
