when I'm shopping at walmart whether it be day or night,I always hear customer service call depts to come get their returns.At loblaws,because their tightness on hours(politics from head office),there is nobody to take returns back to their depts.As a result,shopping carts and shopping carts full of perishable items that are left in customer service all day and all over the shelves at the end of night get picked up and go to waste.The savings of not hiring staff ends up losing over 10X that in waste.My store lost 2 million last year and management doesn't have a clue why.
