I worked for this company for 30 years, this year their focus is Collegue Retention, this has to be the biggest farce this company has every pulled. They dont want long term employees they are to expensive or so they think. The amount that the VP's spend on signage and this retention program could have saved them millions to put into labor. This company has gone from the basics which made it great in its hayday, Customer, Family oriented business. Now its all about how much we can make for the people in the ivory tower and their investors. Their idea of retention is about 5 years then they want them to quit, as that is when they start to cost the company money. Always trying to keep up with Wal-mart, has made them no better to work for then Wal-mart
they should check with the long term collegues and might be surprised at how much labour costs could be saved by buying us out... we are ready to go
