personally I thought our rcwc store in Williams lake was the only bad store out there. I see I was wrong.its happening in all stores. Here as well there is a lot of favoritism as well. Its all in who your related to. Numerous letters to Galen Weston and never a response. the manager who can make up to 30% bonus doesn't care about the spvs or employees. As long as we make her look good to the dm's.the asm cant even complete a full shift. the schedule for spvs is ridiculous. 10 hours or more a day. We close and open close and open.lack of sleep everday. and home life is non existent .They should supply us with a room of our own as we live there every other weekend.We make less in salary than our own employees. As for bonus we bust our ass for a mere 6% bonus. We do the work and the extra hours and the manager and asm take credit and huge salaries for our long hours and stress filled days. If you ever work there make sure you have no family because management doesn't care about you or your family.Its all about cutting labor and making money. Years ago I could have given this company 5 stars. It was a great place to work. It has gone down hill. We as spvs as well have no job security as well. we are often told you do what we say or else get another job. Threats of being written up constantly. No matter how hard you work,no matter how good the customer service is you are told its still not good enough. Do more. In the evenings we have approx 4 people working .usually 2 cashiers 1 produce staff member and one spv. But yet we still have to run our dept,the entire store,do pick ups,and watch for the numerous thieves that target us in the evening as they are aware we have no one working. your sick who cares. We need you in.Its your dept so you have to come in no matter how sick you are. surgery well be prepared to have only 2 days to recover. Death .please make sure no one ever dies in your family (god forbid) as that's also an inconvenience to the management. Who will do your job if that happens? not them.spvs and staff are under payed and overworked. moral in our store is at an all time low. Great place to work? Maybe if your high up there. Shares will never go up in value again until they have happy employee's and dept spvs. As it goes our store has such a bad reputation in Williams lake that only the desperate will apply. Please think twice about applying at rcwc 6734 in Williams lake,otherwise you will be putting your unhappy comments on here,warning others about this store. Galen Weston needs to give his head a shake and start reading the numerous letters from his and burned out supervisors. Spend some time in his stores and see what is really going on.district managers dont even take the time to say hello to spvs or staff.Time to involve the labor board.....No stars for this company.
