Managers need to start backing their workers , when the employee has explained to the customer about the store refunds and policies, yes we know policies can bend to a point. customers know if they talk load enough they will get what they want. Mangagers have no backbone and make the employee look and feel stupid for trying to back up the store policy. Also workers should be protected from Customer Abuse yes some Customers are bullies and this is an issue, we try to give respect and understanding to their situation, all you get are threats and talked down too amoung other things. You cannot even defend yourself and this leaves you feeling very bitter, towards work and people. Things need to change for the better , just dont see it happening anytime soon.
I totally agree I have been working for this company for almost 6 years and nine months and now I am paid slightly more then minimum wage, I am a hard worker but i am expected to do the work of 4, customers are stupid, sloppy, and self centered and lazy. I would have been on a violent rampage if i never met my girlfriend almost 2 years ago.
