I have been with Reitmans for 2 years and I have a lot of good things to say about it. They do seem to value their employees and with the right manager then you can have flexible schedules and have a life outside of work. The pay could be higher but they do give benefits to part time team leads which other companies do not. The downside is there is no retirement plan at all and it doesn't look...

Haven't been working here for very long, but a few general things worthy of note. I have over 3 years of retail experience and have never seen such a poorly designed store. Sure it looks pretty, presentable and neat to the customer; but if you're the worker that has to deconstruct the store in your head and logistically where everything goes and how it's folded (or hung), this is so difficult...

I worked at a Reitmans store as a sales associate for a little over a year and HATED it. While the store was low-volume and low-traffic (which has its ups and downs), the customers and the district manager were terrible. When I was hired, I was led to believe that this was a non-commision (and therefore non-pressure) sales job - while the non-commission part is true, the non-pressure part isn't!...
