A wonderful company to work for - if you're a great salesperson. There are lots of opportunities for advancement, but, again, at the end of the day, you have to be a great salesperson, which isn't necessarily made clear upon being hired. People who stick with it will go very far in the company, but may have to sacrifice a personal life - 50+-hour weeks for near to minimum wage should be...

Wow...where to start.

I worked there for 8 years in Edmonton. They tout their commitment to Work/Life balance and "we work hard and reward hard work" and all that...but really, they don't. They reward incompetence and are terribly mismanaged.

You start off as a Management Trainee - usually right out of University so they grab you before you get a "real job" and don't know any better. You...

Enterprise is the worst place I have ever worked. You get trapped in the life style of drinking to make you forget the fact that you are working 50+ hours a week to make a select few people a lot of money while you scrape by and buy food at the dollar store because thats all you can afford. You will get promoted quickly!!!! which means they will pay you slightly more to work a lot more. And you...

Worked there for 14 months before I was let go for failing to follow "corporate" guidelines on one specific rental (manger approved before his boss did not) You work hard (5 1/2 days each week) and long hours (7:45 - 6:15) each day, so the salary does not match your expected workload. Company culture created a "us" employees vs. "them" management attitude, although one would never show or admit...

I worked in an environment where your job is to rip off as many people in one day as you can. if you are sales oriented and feel like working for 12$hr and having no self respect is the thing for you , go for it. good training for sales, but the people who know what there doing leave the company after a few months

This company is basically a "good company", their business model is good. Bring employees in at the bottom and let them work their way to the top (rarely happens). Very successful as far as being the largest rental company in North America, and probably the world. Working for ERAC is a total joke. Worst job I ever had, and I was a manager that made <60k/year. Best day of my life was the day I quit. Actually, the best day of my life was the day after I quit, because I had a good night's sleep knowing I didn't have to dread going to work the next day for a company whose upper management has absolutely no integrity or ethics to speak of.

WORST PLACE TO WORK!!!!

I was working 60+ hours per week, compensation was brutal, and management was a joke. The company has a good reputation, but.. it doesn't deserve it. Credit isn't given to where it's derved, no one is really team orientated there, and it's all about who can step on who to advance. Expect backstabbing, work gossip, and loads upon loads upon loads of paperwork!

Not at all satisfied with my experience with ERAC. No integrity whatsoever in most departments of management, no sense of teamwork and cooperation, and lousy compensation.
