I have generally never agreed that the upper crust at CAASCO were to blame for everything; yes, a few very, very bad choices like the MRM program, and the Credit Card fiasco lies in their laps. Still, I personally believe that the middle to junior management are completely pathetic.

Well it's a pity management worries more about a message board than running the company. Management has always been head over heals for this site. But I am not telling tales out of school. Three points to sum up this company:

1) They monitor this site on a daily basis and try to have comments removed

2) They block employees from accessing this website, but they can't block my phone :-)

3) They have HR periodically make posts in an attempt to balance the comments

Well things never change do they. Now an HR alum is running the call center. Do you need any specific qualifications for any position in this company? The answer is of course no. You just need to get along with mr sewage or his lackey running the club. What a sad state of affairs. It won't be long until one of the maintenance crew is running IT.

I hardly recognized the company I started working for when I left CAA. Things have taken a turn for the worse at CAA.

About all that remains that is still relatively competitive is the compensation package with full benefits. It does not make up for the rest of the issues.

The business model and vision itself are not the problems. However, management seems to have lost sight of its own...

I love working at CAA. I have had several instances, though, where I believe that management could have been more on-the-ball, my opinion could have been taken more seriously and scheduling requests could have been considered prior to actually putting together the schedule.

Very non supportive work environment. All attention is paid to management not to regular staff. Staff are generally afraid to speak out for fear they will lose their jobs, which is often the case. Brutal management style which results in frequent termination of regular staff.

A service oriented company with an unfriendly attitude towards it's employees. A company that is devoted solely to the "bottom line". Management top heavy. Long term employees are often fired or forced into early retirement. Average to low wages with very limited opportunity for advancement.
