As with all the banks, the focus which should be the clients is lost .The sales target is all that matters. But it all should change this year, they are changing the way they are measured from "extremely satisfied' to the client having to say the service was "excellent'. Funny , the passing mark is only 33% of clients need to say that word.Back to the drawing board.

Since i sell a lot i make more money than managers in most companies. i earn over 40k a year base and i just made an extra 3.4k because of the last quarter. At this rate i can make over 50k a year to sit on a phone.

I work for Telephone Banking Credit Deparpment in Regina. I think that CIBC is constantly raising targets and raising responsibilities that make it harder to hit targets.. Recently more than 10 people have quit CIBC because of these sherades. Even managment sometimes do things that they shouldn't do but still get away with it.. I would never refer a friend to work in this department.. The pay is...

Work for CIBC Wood Gundy. Management is very poor. Support staff overworked & underpaid. Management watches "bottom Line" to ensure that their bonuses remain high. High level of politics. Communication is very poor. Office moral very low. Company itself not bad but the management is very much lacking in leadership, integrity, wisdom & honesty.

No higher order thinking skills at all. Dirty,Petty politics is rampant in this organization. Hiring...

I work for the PCF direct banking division for CIBC. I really enjoy my job, the people I work with, and the atmosphere.

CIBC is a poor place to work, a bad overall environment and has poor leadership in place.

Re-organizes way too often! And, expects me to work all the time! But, seems to pay better than some of the other FIs.
