Versaterm is a flat organization - which to me means that any hope of attaining a sizable pay increase or promotion is crushed due to lack of "levels". Workspace is cramped with many people working within a confined space. No separation of space is distracting (no cubicle walls or even half-walls). My chair actually hit the chair of the person working right behind me regularly.
