Agree with all of the negative comments about this company. Management is extremely rude, and many employees in higher positions tend to get away with doing next to nothing. There is no room for advancement, the office layout is atrocious, and management tends to play favourites. Employee retention is very low. Although the company is quite ahead in terms of website SEO and internet savvy, the company in a business sence is lacking. Put simply they fire/let go of people consitantly due to bad management. Opie Marketing, Hostpapa, Promo Peole.....these names...just by saying these out loud brings a bad taste to my mouth. Stay away from Opie Marketing group, believe me, you'll be dong yourself a favor. They have the most inconsiderate managerial philosophy, and they are nothing but a bunch of cheap bastards.

I find the "ex" employees posting (two posted on the same day...hmm) a little odd. Obviously a bitter ex-employee who had their own personal issues, and who finds it more convenient to blame others. Another past employee here.... well said. I definitely agree with everything that was said before. Except you left out how horrible their firings are! Shameful.

In no way am I a mean-spirited or angry person, but this company deserves to get this horrible review. I don't know where to start, except to say, DO NOT WORK AT OPIE MARKETING!

I believe it began as a family-owned and operated company that slowly grew larger, though the family members and long-time friends that still work there are grossly "favourited" over other employees.
