Dollarama is not a happy place to work. The district and regional managers use threats to get projects accomplished encouraging managers to work off the clock. Instead of team building, store managers on Vancouver Island at least are encouraged to report on each other's stores. Yet favoritism is rampant, district manager even renting out her second house to a store manager directly reporting to her. How can you fairly rate your team when your second income depends on that manager keeping their job.
