To comment 7, I have long believed that a campaign through Facebook and other Social Media would be able to generate enough proxies to gain Board representation.

This post serves as a flagship representation of how far this company has sunk.

How do they determine who goes? Seems like they don't care how you perform bottom line is who you know. It does not pay off to be loyal any more.

I am wondering how much a 'conflict of interest' it is to use your employee base to gather enough proxy votes to push through an agenda.

Innovative like the cc program. Pity they can't fire that dog. But an even bigger pity is the people responsible for it, the travel system, mrm, the integrated online channel, the botched cms project, the cc program, the failed auto repair business etc etc can't be fired. What a colossal set of errors. Only a board filled with a bunch of old foggies that haven't a clue would allow this to happen. They are more concerned about their per diem than the company. If this was a public company they and senior management would all be on the street. And just wait til the ball starts rolling downhill on the travel medical business. There is a huge potential to lose massive money here. And with the guy running it you have a do nothing buck passer who will blame everyone but himself.

Even the hr posts are getting lame. Must be tired after kicking a whole lot of good people out the door. Wake up board Hillaby just cost you a ton of money in severance for nothing

Was I shocked No....we all knew this was coming and its not over yet. So sad what happened yesterday and others don't know when they will be next.

Rater 65, please enlighten us on these "innovative stuff"! If you think giving people long term service awards one day and then firing them the next is innovative, then they're way ahead of the pack! The only thing they're doing innovative are hiring unqualified people for senior management roles.

Even H.R saw the writing on the wall as many of them left before this went down. Massive lay offs off tenured employees on an annual basis is not innovation. Every year more are let go, not fired due to lack of productivity-laid off.

How can a company that has massive lay offs every Year be a good place to work? How can a company that moves HR employees into senior management roles in departments and fields they have NO clue about be a good place to work? How can a company that is supposed to be known as an organization that cares about people and it's Members, treat their employees with so little disregard? CAA is not the type of company you go to for a career..... It's no better than a sweat shop.
