  • In theory this is a great organization. Executive Director has great vision!!
    That said, sadly middle management is key to the success of an agency such as Alta Care and the middle management of this organization lacks skill and knowledge in leadership practices.
    Intimidation, emotional management,lateral violence , bullying, passive aggression, lack of accountability, lack of humility are all variables consistent with the general character description of middle management.
    Inconsistencies exist in every component of practice within the organization.
    Sketchy documentation practices bordering on unethical practice within documentation guidelines. Documentation methodology could easily be challenged by any competent auditing source.
    Gossip, triangulating and gas lighting are prevalent among the middle management brigade. Executive staff are disconnected from the practical applications of the work .
    High turn over of skilled personnel has a great impact on the cost efficiency of recruitment, hiring and training.
    Client driven service is lost at the middle stage of this organization. Labour relations would have a field day auditing the work hours not compensated. AltaCare middle lack of management brigade makes for the perfect justification to implement UNION!!
    Oh , 50% plus 1, that's all it takes!!! ;)

A union is exactly what is needed at Alta Care. Been approached, let's hope there's enough support.
